Glad to here I'm not the only 43 year old just coming to my senses. As far as I'm concerned you picked the best all around bike to start with or maybe just to enjoy period. I highly recommend the safety course. I figured it might be a waste of time, traffic rules,etc.. I was surprised at how much I got out of the course and plan to go back after the first of the year for the advanced course.
